Kevin Yoxall was a collegiate All-American powerlifter while at East Texas State, and earned his degree from here in 1983. He then moved into the world of strength and conditioning, where he was a collegiate coach for over 30 years at TCU, Minnesota, UCLA, Auburn, and Rice. He has earned multiple coach of the year honors, and received that profession’s highest honor when he was named “Master Strength and Conditioning Coach”. He has also been inducted to the USA Strength and Conditioning Coaches Hall of Fame.
